Dan Johnson

My career has came full circle. I started out loving design and detoured into cooking, which led me to a job as a dishwasher at a Compass Group site. After getting promoted to cook, jumping ship to work for the Pickled Peach as their Sous Chef, I eventually returned to design, freelanced for one year before getting an a role at Lowe’s as a visual designer at the same site I was previously a dishwasher.

Now, as a designer for Compass Group, I help build software for chefs using my own lived experiences and relationships to help bring thoughtfulness to our products.

I’m focused on growing into a design leader and founder.
